Andy Gunning | Dentist

Andy is a former school pupil of Annan Academy and went on to study Dentistry in Glasgow qualifying in 2010. Over the last few years Andrew has taken on the responsibility of running the practice, from his father Mr Graham Gunning and partners.

Over that period, Andrew has worked extremely hard on developing his own skills and developing the practice. He continues to invest a great deal of time on improving what he and his colleagues can offer patients of the practice. He has been placing dental implants since 2015, treatments ranging from single implants to full arch cases and restorations. He has been a dental trainer for 6 years, mentoring junior dentists in their first year of work following university. As a practice, training offers us variety and keeps us all on our toes.

As a dental business owner, teacher, dad and husband, his focus is very much on helping those around him to take control of their priorities and achieving their goals. He never has his head out of a book, trying to learn from the experience of others and applying what he can to improve what he can. The job is never done, the goal posts simply move.
