About Gunning Dental

When we think of our practice it is not the physical attributes, technology, environment that springs to mind but our Team. We are lucky enough to have many longstanding and established team members and we welcome new recruits to the fold on a regular basis.

We are focussed on helping both our patients and staff achieve their goals and impact their lives in a positive way. This frames many of the decisions we make as healthcare providers and employers.

We aim to provide reliable, high quality considered dental care and provide the environment in which our patients understand us, their treatment and feel confident and cared for.

We want to provide the skill, support and encouragement for our team to progress in turn enhancing the experience that our patients have with us.

We recently moved premises, expanding and updating the practice and equipment to enhance the care of our patients.

Our lead dentist Andrew Gunning is the second generation to run the practice, following in the footsteps of his dad, Mr Graham Gunning. He was joined by his wife, Gillian Gunning in November 2022, who now officially runs the day to day of the practice.

Our Practice is Our Team.

Our practice is a mixed NHS/Private practice.

Alongside providing a comprehensive range of NHS and private services, the practice is an established dental vocational training practice assisting in providing a route to NHS dental provision for new dental graduates.

Although located in Annan, we welcome private patients from all over Dumfries and Galloway and Northern Cumbria. We provide preventative plan memberships and one off private treatments. We accept Dentist referrals and self referrals. Should you wish to discuss any of the treatments we provide then we offer free consultations with our Treatment Coordinator.
