Erin O’Neill | Dental Vocational Trainee

We’re delighted to welcome Erin to Gunning Dental as our new DVT dentist. A 2025 graduate of Dundee University, she impressed us throughout the recruitment process not only with her academic achievements, but displayed some qualities at interview that really matter in dentistry – calmness under pressure, the ability to listen with care, and a genuine drive to grow.

What stood out most, however, was her apparent grit and determination. Alongside completing a demanding dental degree, she has dedicated herself to training and competing as a CrossFit athlete – a balance of discipline, resilience, and commitment that we know will serve her patients well.

Born and raised in Dumfries, Erin is excited to return to her local community to begin her career. We can’t wait to see her skills develop and to support her as she builds strong, lasting relationships with our patients.
